My Policies

I use high quality photo paper and high quality stainless steel links.  The clear, glass-like enamel that is applied over your pictures dries as a hard, protective coating that protects your picture and makes your charm waterproof.  It also makes the picture more vibrant.

I pride myself in working with my customers to make sure that the finished product is exactly as you want it.  After putting the photos on the charms of your Italian charm item, I will take pictures and e-mal them to you, so you have a chance to give your approval or ask for changes.  Once I have your approval, I will then finish the item by applying the enamel and allowing it to dry properly.

Once you have chosen which photo(s) you want to use, simply e-mail, or postal mail me the photo(s) you would like on your charm item(s), along with a completed order form, or simply e-mail or call me to discuss the item you would like created.  I will work with you to make the item exactly how you want it.  Sometimes I even make suggestions that I think may work well with the item.  If mailing your photo, it will be returned to you with your order.

How to Choose Your Photos

Here are a few things to remember to help you select the photos for your charms:

For 9mm Charms, close-up face shots work best.  So, after receiving your photo, either by e-mail or mail, I will crop the photo to obtain a close-up face shot.  If your photo is of decent quality, I should be able to crop out a good picture to use.  If I receive a photo that simply will not work, I will notify you immediately.  The 9mm charms look best with just one person's face/pet's head, etc.  I have encountered a few exceptions where two people's heads were very close together in a photo, and I was able to crop out face-shots of both people and the charm turned out nice.

To avoid receiving photos that will not crop and print well, I ask that you please e-mail your photos or postal mail the original prints of snapshots/photos.  Computer print-outs of photos do not work, because once I receive the print-out from you, I have to scan that print-out and crop from the scan - this greatly reduces the quality.

I edit your photo to the best of my ability.  I also offer e-mails of the charms with your photo on them for your approval before I complete the charms.  Should you supply a photo of poor quality, I will edit it to the best of my ability to attempt to make it work, and will require your approval before the completion of the charm.  Therefore, I will not be held liable for the resulting print-out and will not offer refunds for charms that are not perfect because of a poor quality photo that was supplied to me.  I will, however, notify you immediately if I see that a certain photo will cause the charm to be of lesser quality - it is then your choice if you want to go ahead and create the charm with that photo, or you may choose to send me a different photo.

Since the 18mm (Mega or Mega-Uno) charms are larger, I am able to fit more of the photo onto the charm.  For example, I am usually able to fit two people or group photos onto a Mega charm.  Unlike the 9mm charms, full body shots also work with the 18mm charms.
